Bobotie is a South African dish, and one of the best and easiest ways I know of transforming plain minced meat into something unusual and delicious. The mince is flavoured lightly with curry powder, almonds and raisins, and then topped with a savoury egg custard. It may sound a little bizarre, but it works!
