This is an interesting variation on the traditional fruit crumble, with a topping flavoured with coconut, and a mixture of fruit hidden away underneath. You can, of course, use just apples on their own, in which case you’ll need to increase their quantity to 1-1.1 kg (2-2½ lb). Prepare as below,
