  • About

Make this oil when tangerines are in season. Other good options, if tangerines are not in season, are Valencia or mandarin oranges.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) olive oil (does not have to be extra virgin)
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Method

In a blender, combine all the ingredients and process on high speed for 2 minutes. Strain the oil through a fine-mesh sieve, coffee filter, or cheesecloth into a glass jar. Discard the solids. Cover and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
