Liquorice-Star Anise Drops

These little liquorice drops are intensified by the addition of two types of anise: the oil from the anise seed and the seeds and seed-pod of the star anise. The combination creates a punchy old-fashioned black liquorice flavour. The salt is inspired by Danish salt liquorice, though this version contains less salt as it can be rather overpowering.
