Some people are not keen on commercial cherry-flavoured chocolates, but even if you are one of those people it is well worth trying these home-made ones, as they taste completely different. Store-bought types often contain a sweet, squidgy, slightly synthetic-tasting cherry rather than a sour, firm-textured one. This classic recipe consists of a perfect cherry nestled in a Kirsch-spiked ganache, enrobed in intense dark chocolate.
