A Buttered Apple Pie

Unlike Amelia, we will not be lifting the top crust after baking to add all the ingredients, though feel free to experiment with that technique if you so desire. I like this pie made with white wine (and tend to have that available in my kitchen more frequently), though you can also take Amelia’s other suggestion and use a splash of rosewater instead.
