Spanish Flatbread

Coca is a flatbread from Barcelona and is known as Catalonia’s answer to pizza. Its thin, crunchy crust can serve as an accompaniment to a variety of tapas or it can hold any number of toppings, although never cheese and rarely tomatoes. Some historians believe that coca was the precursor to the Italian pizza and was introduced to Naples when it was conquered by Spain.
