  • About

Cava, the sparkling wine of Spain, is made using the same method as champagne. With its citrusy and floral flavors paired with sweet strawberries and freshly squeezed citrus, this sangria is an elegant and refreshing option for summer entertaining.

Ingredients

  • One 750 ml bottle white wine, such as Albarino
  • 1 cup

Method

In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, grapefruit juice, grapefruit and orange slices, strawberries, and pineapple. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

To serve, place several cubes of ice into individual wine glasses and fill halfway with the sangria and fruit. Top with the Cava or sparkling wine. Garnish with the reserved fruit and enjoy.
