Scattering some toasted almonds over the top of these tuiles will make for a more substantial biscuit, though they should still be light as air and melt in your mouth. Serve with ice cream or sorbet, or simply enjoy them with a cup of tea.

Preheat the oven to 180°C/Gas 4. In a bowl, whisk together the almonds, flour and salt.
