Sautéed greens

This is a winter staple in Tigray. Hamli grows all over the countryside come winter time, making this a great food for subsistence farmers waiting on the spring harvest. However, this weed-like plant will be called Chinese broccoli or gai lan in Australia and the UK and may cost you a mint per bundle. This dish is best served with legume stew as a complement.
