Ingredients

  • 400 g/14 oz sticky (glutinous) rice

Method

  1. Put the rice in a bowl, cover generously with cold water and leave overnight.
  2. Line a bamboo steamer with muslin. Drain the rice and place it evenly in the steamer.
  3. Place the steamer over a pan of simmering water, cover and steam for about 20 minutes until the rice is plump and tender.
  4. Turn out into a large serving dish and fork it over to allow
