Method

  1. Season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper.
  2. Line a grill pan with foil and cook the beef under a preheated grill for 6–7 minutes on each side. When cooked, slice the beef into strips across the grain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the fish sauce with the lime juice, chilli powder and sugar and toss the beef and shallots in the dressing.
