This is a typical Hungarian fruit soup, made with fresh and delicious strawberries when in season. If you happen to be lucky enough to taste a chilled fruit soup while visiting Hungary, then you may stumble upon a wild strawberry or wild blueberry soup, which are truly wonderful and have exceptionally delicate tart flavours. Blackcurrants, peaches and cherries can also be used to make cooling summer soups.
