Sweet Pyrizhky with Cranberries

Sweet pastries are also part of zakusky hour. The addition of sour cream gives this short pastry dough a creamier texture and a distinctive flavor. This sour cream pastry dough (minus the sugar) can also be used with any other savory pastry or tart. But I usually use this pastry when cranberries are in season and I want to serve sweet pyrizhky.
