The proportions and ingredients may vary slightly in recipes for this ever popular condiment. Some cooks add finely chopped hard-cooked egg yolks to their tartar sauce and some add a bit of horseradish. This is my version. This sauce can be served as an accompaniment to Whole Salmon in Aspic and also with roasted and smoked meats (not just fish), cooked vegetables, and salads.
