A pashtet is a meatloaf similar to a country pate. Combinations usually consist of two or three meats, vegetables, and spices mixed together, baked, and served cold with an assortment of mustards and perhaps warm crusty bread. Every Ukrainian family has its own version of this dish.
This is a delicate pashtet which uses strips of bacon, a boneless, skinless chicken breast, ground veal, and young leeks, yielding a fresh and light result. The smokier the bacon the better
