This sauce has definite Turkish and Mediterranean roots. Besides being a great accompaniment to seafood, this sauce is excellent poured over a medley of steamed or grilled vegetables or makes a lovely dip for fresh vegetables as part of a zakusky spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup very thick (Greek) plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup ground walnuts
  • 2 clov

Method

Put all the ingredients into a small bowl and mix well. Let stand for 15 minutes for all the flavors to come together and stir before serving.

Keep any extra in a covered container in your refrigerator where it will keep for up to 1 week.
