This salad is the perfect accompaniment to any kind of meat or fish.
Put the slices of onion in a medium bowl, sprinkle with vinegar and season to taste with salt. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Arrange the lettuce leaves on a small serving platter. Drain the onion slices and scatter on top of the lettuce. Just before serving, put the sour cream in the center of the platter on top of the lettuce and sprinkle with paprika.
