The word babka refers not only to rich cake-like breads but also to various puffy, egg-type dishes such as this one. Make sure you use a good quality whole milk cottage cheese and hot mashed potatoes and this recipe will surely not disappoint. Using Yukon gold potatoes yields a rich, golden result.
