This is a typical Ukrainian sweet loaf bread with poppy seeds.

Method

Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured board or counter and divide into 3 balls of equal size. Roll out each ball into a rope approximately 12 inches in length. Braid the 3 ropes together, tucking the ends underneath the loaf. Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet, cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
