These juicy meat dumplings are comfortably at home in Ukraine’s southern regions, but especially in Bakhchisaray, the heartland of the Crimean Tatar people. Manty in Crimea are filled with any type of minced meat flavored with only salt and black pepper. The stuffed dumplings are steamed rather than boiled and served with chopped fresh dill and a side of sour cream or yogurt.
