About

Cheesecake is a traditional Easter dessert and variations abound in Ukraine. This is my more contemporary cheesecake recipe. It is crust-less, flavored with crushed pineapple, and topped with meringue.

Method

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Generously butter a 6x9-inch ceramic or glass baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Put the 6 egg yolks into a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light in color, about 5 minutes. Add the sugar and continue beating about 2 mor
