This beverage is superior in taste and very nutritious. Serve this “nut milk” chilled in a glass, either as it is—thick and nutty—or strain and top with a dollop of whipped cream. Using a combination of cherries and walnuts in this recipe is also very good.
Put all ingredients in a blender (except the whipped cream and fresh berries). Blend until of desired consistency: the mixture can be thick and wholesome (use more nuts and less liquid), or thin and delicate (use more liquid than nuts).
