Fresh-pressed fruit juice is a popular Ukrainian summer drink. Often sold from kiosks on the street, lingonberry juice rates as the number one refresher on a hot day, and by all means use lingonberries in this recipe if you can find them. But if unavailable, fresh cranberries will work just fine. Fresh-pressed juice of any kind is usually served over a small bit of crushed ice and occasionally is spiked with vodka if serving adults.
