My friend Katie first told me about this Turkish breakfast. She kindly made it for me one chilly Sunday morning and it has been one of my favourites ever since. It’s inspired by menemen, which is Turkish scrambled eggs cooked in a spiced green pepper and tomato sauce. Don’t be put off if it all looks a bit mish-mashed – it’ll still be delicious (and if you adorn it with lots of chopped fresh parsley and dill, it’ll look pretty too).
