I have a nostalgic soft spot for baked beans and this comforting, cheesy version is one I often turn to when I need to produce something warming and filling, fast. It’s ended up becoming a bit of a winter staple in my home, as much a hit with children as with adults. I like to serve it with rocket or spinach scattered over the top, and a slice of rye or sourdough. Any leftovers are delicious for breakfast.
