Making flavoured butters is a simple thing to do, but is something I often forget about so I am adding these recipes as a reminder to me as well as to you. These last in the fridge for 2 weeks and can also be frozen. I suggest rolling the butter into a log, wrapping it in parchment paper and popping it in the freezer. Then simply slice off a 1cm disc as and when you need it and add it directly to your cooking.
This adds lots of taste without lots of effort. Use on top of steamed veg
