Add this butter to steamed vegetables, bean stews, baked fish or chicken. It is a great hack for making a plain tin of beans more appealing – just drain the beans and gently warm them through, then stir in the flavoured butter and serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 125 g salted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped tarragon
  • zest of 1

Method

Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 weeks, but best to freeze and use within a month – just slice as and when it’s needed.
