Bakewell tarts always transport me to childhood. They’re a very nostalgic dessert, and something I craved endlessly when pregnant. To satisfy my love of this classic, I have been working on creating a slightly healthier and simpler version. You can use either fresh or frozen cherries or berries for this recipe. This doesn’t have too much sweetness so if you are used to having sweet things, then increase the sweetener to your desired taste.
