Ingredients

  • ¾ pound butter
  • 1 c sugar
  • 3 yolks
  • 4 c four
  • 1 rind of lemon

Method

Mix flour and sugar, work in butter with tips of fingers. Add yolks. Roll one-eight inch thick. Cut with cutter. Arrange on buttered cookie sheet. Glaze with frosting of four egg whites, one-half teaspoon of cinnamon, one-half cup powdered sugar and one-fourth pound grated almonds. Bake in moderate oven
