Have the bones removed from a rib roast and rolled. Chicken is prepared as for roasting. Place either roast or chicken in hot oven for twenty or thirty minutes until well browned, then place in 4 quart kettle and place that in 8 quart kettle partly filled with boiling water. Have lids on both kettles, and when all is well heated, put into Fireless Cooker for three or four hours. The time in the oven and in the Cooker is dependent on whether the roast is liked well done or rare, and on the size and age of the chicken.
