  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 qts. boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon

Method

Pick over rice and wash thoroughly.

Add slowly to boiling, salted water so as not to check boiling of water. Boil rapidly for 30 minutes or until kernels are soft. Drain in coarse strainer.
