  • ½ ounces bitter chocolate
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 tablespoon


Scald milk; melt chocolate in small saucepan over hot water; add sugar, salt and gradually boiling water; when smooth, place on range and boil 1 minute; add scalded milk. Beat and serve.

If the sweet chocolate is used, omit the sugar.
