Ingredients

  • 2 cups corn meal
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon soda
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sour milk

Method

Mix the dry ingredients, add the egg beaten lightly and the sour cream and milk. Beat well and bake in shallow pans, in a hot oven about half an hour.
