  • ½ cup flour
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup graham flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk (about)


Sift the flour and do not use the bran left in the sifter. Sift again with the salt and baking powder; add the egg well beaten and enough milk to make a stiff batter. Bake in buttered gem pans, in hot oven 15 minutes.
