  • 2 cups scalded milk
  • A little pepper
  • 1 pt. oysters
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter


When the milk is hot put the oysters and butter in a sauce pan and heat until the edges curl. Add the milk and seasoning. Cook one minute and serve at once.
