Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 small onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 herring (previously soaked)

Method

Place milk, water, onion and seasoning in a saucepan. Boil for 10 minutes, add herring which has been previously soaked and cut in small pieces; cook until herring is tender.
