  • 6 almonds, grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt


Beat yolks very light; add salt and seasoning, the blanched and grated almonds and enough flour and the baking powder to make a stiff batter. Add the beaten whites.

Drop from teaspoon into boiling soup 10 minutes before serving.

Test one in boiling water and if it boils apart, add more flour.
