Cut salt codfish in ¼ in. slices across the grain, and soak in lukewarm water, to draw out the salt and soften the fish. Drain and add 1 cup Thin White Sauce. Add 1 beaten egg just before sending to the table. Garnish with hard boiled eggs. Salted codfish is very nourishing.
