Method

Clean oysters and drain from their liquor. Put in a stew-pan and cook until oysters are plump and edges begin to curl. Shake the pan or stir oysters with a fork as they cook to prevent sticking. Season with salt, pepper, and a few tablespoons butter, and pour on small slices buttered toast. Garnish with parsley and toast points.
