Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold meat (cooked)
  • 3 tablespoons fat
  • teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • cups hot meat stock
  • ¼ teaspoon onion juice, or parsley
  • 2 cups bread or cracker crumbs

Method

Make sauce with the fat, flour and seasoning, and add cup of the hot stock and the rest gradually. Put one-half of the crumbs in a baking dish. Pour sauce mixed with meat (cut in small pieces) in dish, cover with crumbs and brown in oven twenty minutes.
