  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups carrots, diced
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or fat


Make a syrup of the sugar and water by boiling 10 minutes To this syrup add the diced carrots which have previously been browned in hot fat or butter. Cook all together until carrots are tender.
