  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 qt. boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon salt


Scrub, pare and let stand in cold water ½ hour. Cook in boiling, salted water twenty to thirty minutes, or till tender. Drain and shake gently over the fire uncovered, till dry. Serve hot.
