Ingredients

  • 6 baked potatoes
  • ¼ cup hot milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup American cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method

Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise, scoop out the inside. Mash and mix with the butter, salt and milk. Return to the shells and sprinkle with the cheese. Place in moderate oven and bake about 5 or 10 minutes and serve. The cheese may be omitted.
