  • 2 tablespoons hot goose, chicken, bacon fat or butter
  • Ā½ cup hot vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ā…› teaspoon pepper
  • Ā½ onion, cut fine
  • Ā½ cup sweet or sour cream, milk or water


Dissolve the sugar in the cream. Mix with the rest of the ingredients. Mix while hot with any hot vegetable and serve with slightly warm salad.
