Ingredients: ½ onion, cut fine; ½ cup sweet or sour cream, milk or water; ⅛ teaspoon pepper; 1 teaspoon salt; 2 tablespoons hot goose, chicken, bacon fat or butter; ½ cup hot vinegar; 1 teaspoon dry mustard; 1 tablespoon sugar

Method

Dissolve the sugar in the cream. Mix with the rest of the ingredients. Mix while hot with any hot vegetable and serve with slightly warm salad.
