  • 4 bananas
  • ¾ cup pecan nuts
  • 1 head lettuce
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • cup Mayonnaise


Chop nuts in bowl until fine, add salt. Peel bananas and cut in halves crosswise, removing the round ends, so they are as uniform as may be, dip each in Cream Mayonnaise, diluted with 1 tablespoon of milk or cream (if too thick to drain well), roll bananas in nuts and serve on lettuce with a teaspoon of Mayonnaise beside it.
