  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons


Melt butter in a sauce pan, stir in flour; when smooth add milk slowly and stir constantly, until mixture boils. Then place mixture over hot water, add the cheese and cook until it melts, stirring all the time.

Add beaten egg and cook 2 minutes. Serve on toast or crackers.
