  • ½ lb. grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon


Melt butter, remove from fire, add corn starch, stir until well mixed, then add cream gradually and cook 2 minutes. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Season, and serve on crackers.

Either a double boiler or chafiing dish may be used.
