  • About

  • 2 chicken livers, cut in chunks
  • 2 chicken gizzards, cut in chunks
  • 1 lb. pork, in pieces
  • ½ oz. green root ginger
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcester Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Black and red pepper, cloves and cinnamon to taste
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • ½ cup string beans
  • See-Yu Sauce

Fry the first five ingredients in the olive oil, add the next four ingredients and the seasoning to taste and cook. When nearly done, add a small can of mushrooms, half a cup of either bean sprouts or French green peas, or string beans, chopped fine, or asparagus tips. The see-yu sauce, which is eaten with this dish, can be procured at any Chinese grocery.
